SASSA Will Take Solutions to Fernie Neighborhood

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers to the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering solutions like new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it is alarmed with regard to the high quantity of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the superior number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be mainly because here of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office devoted to service the area regularly. The services stage produced for intervention experiences a high inflow of potential beneficiaries, that makes it tricky to the office to attend to all people who go to a service point.
